About Me

For as long as he can remember, Alvin J. Parmassar has always had a camera in his hand. His first camera, given by his grandfather, was a basic automatic point-and-shoot. His family was just so happy and willing to pose for him; striking poses that make the photos look candid, willingly posing for birthday photos, and striking every other imaginable pose! His family’s support is what encouraged Alvin J. Parmassar to pursue photography.

Photographing the Atlantic coast from Acadia National Park to the mangroves of Biscayne National Park, and the wetlands of Everglades National Park is truly an experience that made Alvin J. Parmassar's childhood memorable.

In keeping with tradition, Alvin J. Parmassar has taken it upon himself to give his children the same experiences he had growing up. He wants them to fall in love with nature as much as he did and so, trips to national parks have also become a tradition in his own family.

Alvin J. Parmassar talks more about his trips to national parks when he was younger, and the trips he’s taken with his own family on the blog page. You are invited to visit the page to read all about his photography adventures on these trips.
